We believe you have the right to know exactly what goes on your skin. Below is a full breakdown of the key ingredients in each Nimroz product, why we chose them, and what they do for your skin. We never use harmful bleaching agents, hydroquinone, mercury compounds, or high-dose steroids.
Nimroz Vitamin C Face Serum
Brightening & Dark Spot Removal — 30ml
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) — 15%
The hero ingredient. Vitamin C is one of the most well-researched brightening ingredients in dermatology. It works by inhibiting melanin production — the process that causes dark spots and uneven tone. At 15%, our concentration is strong enough to deliver visible results while remaining gentle for daily use. It also neutralises free radicals caused by sun exposure and pollution, which are major causes of premature ageing in Pakistani skin.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) — 5%
Niacinamide is one of the most versatile skincare ingredients available. At 5%, it visibly reduces the appearance of pores, controls excess oil (essential for Pakistan's humid summers), fades post-acne marks, and strengthens the skin barrier. It also works synergistically with Vitamin C to enhance overall brightening without the irritation that Vitamin C alone can sometimes cause.

Hyaluronic Acid
A powerful humectant that draws moisture into the skin and holds it there. Each molecule can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. This keeps skin plump, smooth, and hydrated throughout the day — preventing the dryness that Vitamin C serums can sometimes cause. Suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin.

Ferulic Acid
A plant-derived antioxidant that significantly boosts the stability and effectiveness of Vitamin C. Without a stabiliser like Ferulic Acid, Vitamin C oxidises quickly and loses its potency. Including it means the Vitamin C in our serum stays active for longer, delivering consistent results from the first drop to the last.

Aloe Vera Extract
A soothing, anti-inflammatory base ingredient that calms irritation, reduces redness, and makes the serum comfortable to wear. Particularly beneficial for sensitive skin and skin that is recovering from acne or sun damage. Also provides lightweight hydration without clogging pores.

Nimroz Whitening Serum
Dark Spot Correction & Even Skin Tone — 30ml
Alpha Arbutin — 2%
Alpha Arbutin is considered one of the safest and most effective alternatives to hydroquinone for skin brightening. It works by slowly releasing hydroquinone in very small, controlled amounts directly on melanin-producing cells, reducing their activity without the risks associated with direct hydroquinone use. At 2%, it is the clinically effective concentration recommended by dermatologists for visible dark spot correction over 4–8 weeks of consistent use.

Kojic Acid — 1%
Derived from fermented rice (a staple of traditional Japanese skincare), Kojic Acid is a natural tyrosinase inhibitor — meaning it blocks the enzyme responsible for melanin production. It is particularly effective on sun-induced dark patches and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (the marks left behind after acne). Combined with Alpha Arbutin, the two create a powerful, synergistic brightening effect.

Licorice Root Extract
A gentle, plant-derived brightening agent with strong anti-inflammatory properties. The active compound — glabridin — inhibits pigmentation triggered by UV exposure and reduces redness. It is one of the few brightening ingredients suitable for the most sensitive skin types and is particularly effective on hormonally triggered pigmentation (common in Pakistani women).

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) — 5%
As in our Vitamin C Serum, Niacinamide at 5% reduces the transfer of melanin to skin cells, minimises pores, and controls sebum. Its inclusion in both serums means they work exceptionally well together as the Nimroz Radiance Duo — used morning (Vitamin C Serum) and night (Whitening Serum).

Sodium Hyaluronate
A smaller molecular form of Hyaluronic Acid that penetrates deeper into the skin for more intensive hydration. Brightening serums can sometimes cause dryness or flaking during initial use — Sodium Hyaluronate prevents this and keeps skin comfortable throughout the treatment process.

Lactic Acid (low concentration)
A gentle AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) derived from milk that provides very mild exfoliation, helping to remove the dead skin cells that trap pigmentation at the surface. At the low concentration in our formula, it accelerates the brightening effect without causing peeling or sensitivity — suitable for daily use.

Using Both Serums Together
Our two serums are formulated to complement each other as the Nimroz Radiance Duo. Use the Vitamin C Face Serum in the morning (it provides antioxidant protection against daytime pollution and UV exposure) and the Whitening Serum at night (when your skin's repair cycle is most active). Together, they deliver faster, more comprehensive brightening and spot correction than either product alone.
